This shooting star pendant features a beautiful Peridot set in 14k white gold with a tail of Gibeon meteorite, sprinkled with gemstones. The tail is hand carved from the meteorite and has been etched with nitric acid to reveal the characteristic patterns, or Widmanstatten figures, of iron meteorites, and is set with opals, colored diamonds, sapphire and ruby. Fun fact, Peridot is the gem version of the mineral Olivine, which comprises the crystals found in Pallasite meteorites, and while this stone is of terrestrial origin, it makes a great match to the iron meteorite. The pendant measures 36 mm by 12 mm, and can be custom made with any gemstones of your choice.
