Black Pearl and Meteorite Shooting Star Pendant

This beautiful shooting star pendant features a Tahitian Black Pearl with a tail of Gibeon meteorite. The tail is hand carved from the meteorite and has been etched with nitric acid to reveal the characteristic patterns, or Widmanstatten figures, of iron meteorites. The pendant hangs from a platinum bale that is welded to the back of the meteorite and is on a multi strand black stainless cable. The pendant measures 35mm by 11mm.
