This is an 18k yellow gold ring inlaid with a laminate of Black Jade and Gibeon meteorite. The polished Black Jade really highlights the meteorite, which has been etched with nitric acid to reveal the characteristic patterns, or Widmanstatten figures, of iron meteorites. It is really a unique and handsome ring. This ring weighed about 24 grams and was 8mm wide.
